@fawfulfan You’re a reporter. It doesn’t matter what you believe… facts are facts. Stop looking at statistics, *especially* “averages” that are years old, and do your own research. Insurance costs are outrageous. And if you think people with kids are only spending $1900 on rent these…

I flatly do not believe you that you are paying $22K in premiums. You are not paying $1,900 a month in just premiums. That's more than the average American spends on rent or mortgage payments!

@robertmclaws @fawfulfan I was paying 1500+ a month so close. For a high deductible plan with a network that would cause an uproar if it was a group plan sponsored by a company.

@robertmclaws @fawfulfan Costs are high but most don't pay 1900 a month. In France it's free and all you have to do is pay a 20% VAT tax on everything you buy. Is that better??

@robertmclaws @fawfulfan One, my rent for a 3br house is more than $1900....two, when we left Texas in 2022, our premiums for teacher insurance were $1400/month and going up to nearly $1700...three, my company provided plan for my family would cost me $1500/month,
