People don’t realise how extreme Ireland’s hate speech bill is. Up to 12 months in prison for refusing to give password to your devices if suspected of committing hate speech. 12 months for refusing to allow the State read messages between you and your spouse. It’s authoritarian.

Increasing inheritance tax isn’t about “fairness”, it’s an assault on the family unit. People work to create a better life for themselves and their family. The idea that the State deserves to take money from families which they’ve already paid tax on is abhorrent. A tax on dying.

In case anybody is confused by the latest NPHET advice. It’s safe to sit in a cinema on June 7th, but not safe until July for indoor dining. It’s safe to watch a movie with a runtime greater than 105 mins in June, but you have to be off your table in July after 105 mins. Science!

Unquestionably the most toxic and divisive individual to ever hold the office of Taoiseach. Varadkar clearly stating that he believes the Irish civil service is “very white” and “that needs to change”. He wants racial quotas for State jobs. This is what’s sold as ‘progress’. Sad

Remember when RTÉ published the names and addresses of ten people charged mostly with failing to provide the Gardaí with names and addresses at an anti-lockdown protest. Irish elite who attended Golfgate and Merrion bash remain largely unknown. Truly holding power to account.

Hugely encouraging to see @SenatorMcDowell raising this. A good man who rightly recognises the danger of not defining hate within the bill.

Former Justice Minister, @SenatorMcDowell , demands a definition for 'hate' in the Hate Speech Bill. @HMcEntee previously admitted that she has not included a definition of 'hate' in order to ensure easier convictions. This is retrograde lawmaking to say the least.

The “science” saying we couldn’t open up hospitality until the bank holiday Monday was bullshit. It’s an anti-drink lobby who’ve been given enormous power and big heads. Gardaí baton charging people for drinking in the areas they’re “allowed” to. It’s gone too far, disband NPHET.

Micheál Martin is an imposter and he’s by far the worst person to ever hold the office of Taoiseach. Anybody who pretends otherwise is a party political hack. As for Leo Varadkar being the future of Ireland, give me a break, an empty chair.

Two women travelling overseas to get a boob job became the subject of national conversation but people aren't supposed to talk about the Tánaiste attending a festival in the UK when the reason they're not taking place in Ireland is because of his own Gov's decision. What a joke.

You’d feel very sorry for the pub under Garda investigation near Croke Park. If only Leo Varadkar was in attendance our Attorney General would step in to assure everyone that everything was above board.

It’s looking inevitable that the reopening of indoor dining in pubs and restaurants will be delayed again, so a little reminder that it’s been safe to dine indoors for weeks provided you book an overnight stay in a hotel. Covid knows if you’ve spent a few hundred quid on a hotel.

There's something sinister in rolling out a discriminatory vaccine passport system and justifying it on the basis of it being used solely for hospitality and for a few short weeks and then expanding it to other areas of society for many months more at a minimum. It's disgraceful.

Green Party lose half their Council seats and both MEPs. I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Green agenda isn't anywhere near as popular as it's made out to be.

With the exception of a 3 week hiatus in Dec, Ireland has been in lockdown since the first week of Oct. Still no concrete plan for reopening, only a persistent drip feed of leaks to the media with promises of eased restrictions over next two months to keep people on side. Farce!
