Great leaders are constant readers. We cannot be afraid of books with which we don't agree.

An order by Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s office resulted in a purge of books critical of racism but preserved volumes defending white power.

I enjoyed signing Christmas cards sent for the office this year. For those who care, they were signed with my @Conway__Stewart Churchill Heritage "Meeting jaw to jaw is better than war." limited edition fountain pen with a stub nib, using Sherwood Forest Green ink.

I always enjoyed working with Chris on the Military Affairs Committee. He was a great guy and will be missed by many, far and wide.
Mississippi State University mourns the untimely passing of former Oktibbeha County NAACP President and retired U.S. Army Command Sergeant Major Chris Taylor of Starkville. Chris served his country and his community with courage and honor and was a friend to MSU.

"Open discussions and disagreements must be encouraged, so that all sides of an issue will be fully explored. Further, important issues should be presented in writing. Nothing so sharpens the thought process as writing down one’s arguments. Weaknesses overlooke..." via @readwise
