Ozempic is out of control. The amount of people who I know that are like half the size they were 6 months ago is blowing my mind. I hope we don’t learn of some bad side effects down the road.

My coworkers and I collaborated on a project and we're up for the #POD24 Innovation Award and I had a dream that they awarded it to two other finalists. But we won! My colleagues decided the whole thing and welcomed me in with open arms. I'm so lucky to work with them.

On Saturday @AerLingus cancelled my flight to Boston and the earliest they could rebook me is today. At the airport, past boarding time and the flight is delayed another 2 hours. Will seriously consider whether to travel with them in the future. #travel #airtravel.

I let my students know that any reason they decide not to attend or to submit work late is a valid one. I don't have to tell my boss why I'm taking a sick day. Giving students autonomy instead of policing goes a long way.
When it comes to student excuses, one of the trends I’ve noticed in recent years is the insistence on not lying, as if every excuse is equally valid. “I am overwhelmed.” “I have a headache.” “My roommate needed help with something at home.” “I have an interview.” . Why?.

Nothing about this is normal. I thought things would "improve" post-2020 but really it's only gotten worse.
I dunno its just that people are being murdered everywhere and some of my extended family is in the path of Milton and unot evacuating and my dad picked up a late-in-life addiction that's tearing my family apart and it feels as if I'm just expected to carry on like normal.
