If the failure exists in education its that we refuse to teach boys and men that they don't need to retreated from what is considered feminine to maintain their masculinity.

I'd wager that any men/boys would struggle in any institution that gets to gender parity of the University sector (just over 50% University presidents are men) not because of a failure of the institution but because boys and men are taught to not respect female spaces/leadership.
