When we were children, we used to play chor-police. Sometimes it becomes difficult to decipher which is which.

Is that what the @gurgaonpolice is meant for? To hell with the suffering citizens, we just want an opportunity to increase our challans or make a quick buck, whichever possible. Shame on @haryanapolice @trafficGGM

The traffic cops had no interest in helping easing the traffic where they were badly needed, but were lurking in dark alleys 100 meters away looking for frustrated motorists who might consider jumping a light after being stuck in a jam for 30 minutes.

what is amazing is that 100 meters away, near the Huda City Metro station there was a severe jam after yesterday’s downpour, where I took 30 min to cross a 500 meters stretch, and I did not find a single traffic cop.

I turned right on a sector 29 road and the cops were hiding in a dark corner on the unlit road. I, of course, should have stopped at the yellow light and the cops were not completely wrong. However....

Last evening around 7.45pm, in #Gurgaon I was stopped by cops for crossing a traffic light in yellow and was threatened with a challan of Rs. 10,000.
