To be fair, Percy also grew heavily interested that he started showing his beginner's cards to Tyson during their Iris messages. It was wholesome. The perfect bonding moment. Now, the same can be said with Nico.

“Sounds good to me. Least we can learn more about these together.” Honestly Percy wasn't even attempting to detect if Nico's words were genuine or lies, just the small gestures of excitement in every action to rip the packages open and study each cards was priceless.
