Today I’m reading the Arthuriad within Lawman’s Brut (c. 1200-1230) as translated by Rosamund Allen. I recommend it highly. I wish you would adapt it as a film, @ZackSnyder. It hasn’t been faithfully adapted before and you could do wonders with it.

Why we should all aspire to be 'deliberate amateurs' Ever wondered about your own love for new, unknown things, and why they are so much fun (outside your area of specialty)? @GTliberalarts @GeorgiaTech @gtalumni @CabreraAngel #education #lifetimelearning
universitybusiness.com
Our own active practice of such freely chosen “deliberate amateurism” might help inspire in our students a love for lifetime learning and the world readiness that comes with it.

Yes, the humanities are in crisis—but enough with the hyperbole already.
