When I C data oriented programming I can’t help that maybe it would look nice as SQL.

This is the specific whiteboard I'm using, it's been fantastic, although it was $216.44 when I ordered it about one year ago

For the record I recommend this type of whiteboard in particular, it's really nice to be able to swap the top and bottom and flip around. It's much nicer to have one like this than wall mounted. I can also pull it close to my computer for meetings.

I would prefer it if GPT-5 wouldn't be so verbose in voice mode, I'd like to go back and forth filling out as I go, instead of so much prompt write write write prompt write write write.

How do you compare models at a specific task without evals though? Like lets say I was doing claims adjudication, and wanted to compare a new model. How would you do that?.
Literally - fuck evals. We wasted so much time at Helicone building evals because "customers wanted it", but this is a classic example of the mom test, we needed to distinguish the core customer problem with what they are asking for.

I really like the voice + analog whiteboarding vibe, it keeps me out of computer mode and in thinking mode. The only problem is GPT-5 voice mode is super janky.

This is an example of how I’ve been studying with GPT-5 voice + whiteboard. I diagram as we go, dig in as deep as it can take me.

Coding tonight back and forth with GPT-5, one function at a time in the GUI, it's doing pretty good, code hasn't failed to work even once. It does have a tendency to over-complicate things quite a bit though.

And then immediately after days 200ms is about the best you can do for web dev, and everything is web now. But I still thought it was an epic talk. We need more old man get off my lawn energy like this.
DHH just declared Docker is annoying as a dev environment and used AAA game rendering an image in 8ms as a baseline for what's reasonable wait time for things

I’ve come to the opinion that there are really only two kinds of foods: carbs and vegetables. Meat is basically compressed vegetables.

Ah man I'm going to have to get the pro version aren't I.
I think congrats again to OpenAI for cooking with GPT-5 Pro. This is the third time I've struggled on something complex/gnarly for an hour on and off with CC, then 5 Pro goes off for 10 minutes and comes back with code that works out of the box. I had CC read the 5 Pro version.

The turtle is right, what we needed was for the sane parts of the left and right to come together before it got this far.
Mitch is learning in real time that his legacy will be the destruction of the Constitution and the collapse of American dominance. Every bit of this was made possible by Mitch. Every bit of it. Cry me a river, old man.
