Still around, been working in the financial industry since ending Cherry Safe. Working from home again brings flashbacks of stress and I still have to have my phone on silent. Built up a second 3D printer and going through plastic at a prodigious rate.

The wind down. Close to tears but sometimes you have to move on. Thanks to everybody who was a customer or who helped throughout the year, too many to mention.

Cherry Safe will be shutting down at UTC midnight tonight. End of an era and something I'm very proud of.

Due to recent changes in UK and European law, and developments in Azure Cherry Safe is no longer be a viable business. I have reluctantly decided that I will stop the service on the 10th of May and no jobs will start after 11:59pm UTC on the 9th of May. https://t.co/cLptulxTf8

It's 2017 we should have moon bases and flying cars, what we have is notepad.exe that still doesn't allow \n as newlines.

When you identify that parameter sniffing is a problem, you need to test whether implementing ‘recompile’ hints will help plan quality. (Not sure what parameter sniffing is? Learn from this blog post...

Nice, the new #vs2017 update makes a big difference loading solutions with many projects. Now I need a tool to convert csproj files.

Web development really is just mashing the keyboard until the website stops looking terrible. No files left unchanged.

I really wanted to like "Live unit testing" in #vs2017 running Explicit tests for NUnit is a no-no, solution config seems absent too

I must be keen - I'm uninstalling VS2015 and jumping on the VS2017 bandwagon. Been using the RC for a while so I have confidence.
