I’m very over excited that JAMES AND JOHN will be out in three weeks. It’s the true story of the last two man hanged for being gay. It’s a tale of prejudice and judicial murder. It takes a whole nation to hang a man.
It’s a slog. It involves hours of dedication. Yes you get shouted at sometimes but more often you chat with fascinating people. You learn a lot. And you make a difference. Every single conversation adds to the landscape of opinion.
So to every Labour volunteer: thank you.
Three votes for
@sarahsackman
A
@UKLabour
clean sweep for our household. Don’t think we have ever been quite so excited to vote for a candidate in an election.
Lovely to hear from Imelda Staunton.
My mum has always boasted about appearing on stage with her. (She doesn't always say it was as a lion in their school production of Noye's Fludde. Imelda, naturally, took the lead.)
We can’t take anything for granted in this election. It is going to be incredibly close in Bury St Edmunds & Stowmarket.
The choice is clear:
🟦 Sunak’s right hand man & more of the same with the Tories
🟥 Peter Prinsley, NHS consultant surgeon & change with the Labour Party
Yet again Sunak says he’s ’incredibly angry’ about the betting scandal at the heart of his Govt. Yes, so incredible that I don’t believe him. He doesn’t look angry. He doesn’t sound angry. And he hasn’t taken any action. He’s not even mildly irritated.
Britain already has public ownership of energy – just by foreign governments.
It is time to take back control of our energy.
With Great British Energy, a new publicly owned company, Labour will make Britain a clean energy superpower.
A short write up here about my visit to support
@MrTomGray
down in Brighton. Tom and I agree, If you actually look at the two manifestos (Labour and Green), there’s not a great deal of difference. Labour’s Manifesto is properly green – their plans are ambitious: 100% green
What the Tories would love more than anything is for people who want a change of government to think that the election is in the bag for Labour so there’s no need to vote.
It’s classic voter suppression technique.
Don’t fall for it.
If you want change, vote for it.

The people of Tamworth deserve to know if their Conservative candidate tried to profit by placing a bet on the date of the election. Can you confirm,
@EddieHughes4WN
?
I’ve been asked several times today, including by a very concerned chap on the train, why I’m not standing again! To be clear, I am the
@WelshLabour
candidate for Rhondda and Ogmore, I’m fighting for a Labour victory and want to play my part in a Labour government!
