Exciting news! The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is awarding $640,000 to 15 research projects! These projects use AI for aneurysm prediction, next-gen imaging for detection, & innovative tools like embedded sensors & blood tests to predict ruptures—all to improve patient outcomes.

Zach, an undergrad in MIE, presented his great work at the Gulf Scholars Program Summer Showcase at LSU today. He did an impressive job starting this project from scratch to build soft robotics and sensors for marine biology applications!

Happy to share our lab has been awarded its first grant! Huge thanks to the LA NASA EPSCoR program and our collaborators at the NASA Langley Research Center. We will work on soft materials and printed electronics to build advanced seals for space equipment.

Happy to share our new paper published in Advanced Functional Materials. We introduce liquid metal embedded fluoroelastomers and study the effects of liquid metal inclusions on the thermo-mechanical stability of soft materials.
