“the billions of words that buzzed in my ears rarely unsettled me by what people wanted them to mean; as to all those words I myself uttered to others, I always felt they were distinct from my thinking—for they became unchanging.”

UK lo-fi experimental filmmaker & performance artist Zak Ferguson smuggled my Prague-NYC quartet of microbooks to the 2K25 Prague Microfestival (despite almost causing an international incident at Václav Havel Airport because the CT X-Ray scanner could not "read" my books!)

Sci-fi goes lo-fi when @rg_vasicek stalks the roiling wastelands of factories, media, tech, vague politics and debased human relationships. He transforms each into something achingly odd yet instantly familiar. J.G. Ballard would surely approve. https://t.co/ywVFHLjoNw

More great literary disorientation from @rg_vasicek - Let it flow over you like static. Clarity's for amateurs. In the end, you'll get the message. Narrative = nothing/everything ... Words x images can sooth or destroy ... Future shock is now. https://t.co/ElNGZOGBaA

Rick Harsch update: Rick is in a stable condition, no longer in a coma, though still not awake after surgery. Doctors are apparently optimistic, so things are looking up.

Devastated that Rick Harsch, publisher of Corona/Samizdat & writer of extraordinary books, has suffered a stroke & is presently in a coma. Hoping like hell that he'll recover. Expecting further news in the coming days.

EQUUS PRESS SEPTEMBER RETROSPECTIVE 30. @AnsgarAllen, JONATHAN MARTIN (2025) JONATHAN MARTIN (forthcoming 1 Nov 2025) presents itself less as a “life novel” than as a necromantic reanimation of biography as ruin, disjunction, and haunted fragment. “On 27 May 1838, Jonathan
