An organisation supporting parents and caregivers living with FASD, providing training and education and care and support with a no blame no shame ethos.
Australia
Joined May 2009
What if survivors have FASD -fewer coping skills than a neurotypical survivor- unable to express pain, conflicting feelings and little ability to seek support? Grace is one of a kind - a once in a lifetime person. There are 100,000s of children with undiagnosed FASD in Australia

This is a fact that some people fail to grasp that FASD is lifelong and that children with FASD grow up to be adults with FASD.

Keep trying. Don’t give up. It took me more times than I care to admit to get some real sobriety.
Today should have been me 2 weeks sober, but I find myself back at day 1. I feel horrible in more ways than I’d care to admit. The only thing I have left is my desire to stop, I’ll get back up and rebuild stronger.

I am retiring after 21 years volunteering in the FASD space. This means that rffada is also winding up. If anyone would like to take it over please let me know. I would like to thank the rffada Board and others who have worked with us over this time.
