To put it into perspective, with our 2 wins in 12 games, we have: • The same amount of wins after 12 games as SHREWSBURY last season • LESS wins after 12 games than CRAWLEY & CAMBRIDGE had last season We’re being dragged to a standard of clubs like these @RCouhig

Ultimately, when thousands of fans are unimpressed week in week out watching the same game as you yet you still try pull the wool over their eyes, it’s only heading one way. A real shame, overall. For his sake I hope it’s ended soon. #ReadingFC

I think it’s evident in atmospheres at matches that there’s a disconnect between him and the fanbase which is odd considering his history. I think he could do himself so many more favours on the touch line, there’s a real lack of intent to try get the crowd up. #ReadingFC

Noel’s repeatedly shooting himself in the foot in these interviews, unfortunately. Not a surprise with his inexperience I suppose. He still has somewhat goodwill from fans and throws it in the bin by being dishonest, could try rally the fans and squad together, but no. #ReadingFC
💬 Noel Hunt after being asked about starting a run of results at Cardiff City this weekend: “We are on a run, we’ve been beaten one in eight it’s important we just fine tune things.” Are we missing something? #readingfc

Three consecutive 1-1 draws just about sums up everything this team is under Hunt. Always bound to concede, never going to score enough. #ReadingFC
A third successive 1-1 draw for Reading- and another goal for Jack Marriott in League One. A full rundown of the afternoon at Exeter City.

These three need to have a strong, hard look at our loan signings. It’s most definitely not showing up as a system that works. Choosing Jacob as he was an easy option due to Hunt’s links has been an absolute howler. So much potential in that market, wasted. #ReadingFC

- Press being non existent, again - Set piece threat being zero, again - Stupid persistence on forcing the ball into Wing at every occasion - Bringing Kyerewaa more central, taking away his best attribute - Elliott with zero minutes (😐) He’s out of his depth. #ReadingFC

Witnessed a systematic failure of what Hunt’s trying to do, today: - Relying on Ahmed and Jacob for width and quality out wide (??) - Going man for man upfront with a huge gap in midfield meaning more long balls (??) - Can’t get Doyle into the game, again #ReadingFC

Would add that Elliott and Garcia can slot in against perceived “weaker” teams, mainly at home, that need breaking down/last half an hour chasing a result. Savage and Lane suit being off the bench based on their energy and current form not being up to standard. #readingfc

For me personally, it’s pretty clear this is our strongest lineup and system to go with. • Doyle in the 10, suits being closer to Marriott and pressing with him, links midfield to attack • Ritchie helps Ahmed out massively • Fraser over Savage in his best role #readingfc

Just a reminder, the reason Elliott is dropped is because Hunt doesn’t have a clue how to get the best out of him. Same with Doyle. #readingfc

Unfortunately Stickland, Camara, Dorsett and Kelvin E just shouldn’t be playing League 1 football week in week out right now. No slight on them, they are fine as depth. They just need to have better starters in front of them. #ReadingFC

The reason why he’s posted this is because two people on HNA? have said we are close to signing Matt Ritchie and that Devante Cole is signing today, fyi. #ReadingFC

GOAL! He's got another! Makama picks up the ball and smashes an effort past Griffiths into the back of the net from long range. ⌚️ 3’ | 🔴 2-0 🟡 | #LINWBA

If Hunt sees Spencer and Borgnis as not being up to the level of first team squad players then we’ve got to get them out on loan to the National League. Huge waste and to have a 21 and 22 year old stuck in PL2 for another season. #ReadingFC
#readingfc Squad in Basingstoke: Matty Rowley Harrison Rhone Boyd Beacroft Sam Harrison Philip Duah Ryan Zie Emmanuel Osho Shay Spencer Jacob Borgnis Luke Howard Carter Bowdery Joe Barough Kiyan CMS David Hicks Miles Obodo Jonah Walker Jay Williams

I don’t see Rushesha as being good enough to play that role either for what it’s worth, at the same time I think he also deserves a go in the 8 in the cup and see how he fares from there.

I do still have doubts about our right backs, we have to think of ourselves as relying on Abrefa and Ahmed simply due to Yiadom being far too unreliable. Gives me shades of our left back situation in the past few years. Would like to see us get a versatile defender in. #ReadingFC
