Short 🧵: I had a few moments of quiet (probably need much more of that, but that another topic for another time) and I began to pray. Good, right? Certainly. I was praying in light of going to see my Oncologist in a few hours to get scan results.

Finally finished this on Friday, after reading it during July. Incredible writing and story that will remain with me for some time, I think. Haven’t seen the movie. [Taking a little break from X for most of Aug, starting tomorrow. Last xeet for awhile. Behave yourselves!]

Had a bit of a scare owing to some unusual/unexplainable pain. Thankfully, no evidence of a recurrence of cancer, based on a scan I had yesterday. My mind+emotions have been all over the map, but I’ve been held up by many. I hate cancer. Still, God is good. All the time.

Alternatively, I think our diversity is a strength and a large part of the reason the PCA has flourished. Are there pitfalls? Sure. But that would also be true with any system.
The fact that you can walk into PCA churches and find a variety of different styles of worship and practices is very unfortunate. It not only undermines the RPW, but also makes it difficult for PCA members to transfer to other churches within the same denomination.
