Short 🧵: I had a few moments of quiet (probably need much more of that, but that another topic for another time) and I began to pray. Good, right? Certainly. I was praying in light of going to see my Oncologist in a few hours to get scan results.

I would just like to point out that mere weeks after dropping 73 or so Overtures on us, @ThomasERickard failed to face his fellow Stated Clerks at the annual Conference this past weekend. Make of that what you will. I also blame @SEdburg for failing to show.

As I take a break for Advent, I would humbly ask you to pray for Grayson (a 9yrold who came to church for the 1st time with his dad+randmother) He was in a coma for a wk some time recently. I spent time with the three of them to share the gospel+for Grayson to pray for salvation.

In my role as a Presbytery Stated Clerk, I was directing a PCA member to a portion Book of Church Order today. He was not familiar with it + I acknowledged it’s not the most scintillating reading. His response: “there’s not a movie based on it coming out”. True. Very true.
