We're proud to have signed a joint letter with @EndChildPoverty Coalition, written by Rosie - a mum pulled into poverty by the two-child limit to benefit payments, addressed to @RachelReevesMP. This policy has been in place for 8 years and must be scrapped. #AllKidsCount

Child poverty has reached a new high, with 4.5 million children in poverty in the year to April 2024, last week's DWP statistics show. This is an increase of 100,000 from the previous year. We stand together with @EndChildPoverty to call for an end to the rise in child poverty.

The village will feature pre-loved retail outlets, a bike repair hub, a tool library, a café & a training kitchen. It is expected to create up to 40 new trainee & employment opportunities annually, building on the support New Start Highland offers to over 1,500 people each year.
