matty being the one to begin to believe robert is so smart of the writers. for him to have an understanding of where roberts headspace is. for him to give him the farming break. for him to be close to key characters in the story like vic and cain. it all makes sense #emmerdale

matty being someone who has had the same experience of being stuck in prison and being the same person who gave robert his break on the farm having one short conversation with him and wanting to give him a chance again. knew i trusted you for a reason matthew #emmerdale

when aaron wakes up from his coma terrified to hear robert is in prison and john framing him seemingly worked so he speaks to police to clear robs name and chas has to sit there as she hears her son confirm every single thing that robert said was true

i could write an essay on how andy told robert he would never forgive him but 'one day you will slip up and youll pay for what you did to katie' and now robert years later is living the same fate as he put andy in. desperate and being painted as crazed and insane #emmerdale

'everyone has grovelling to do when robert is proven right' i dont want grovelling i want them to support him getting help for his ptsd. i want them working on gaining his trust and not pushing him. i want them to understand they cant just grovel and be forgiven by him
