Grant 9! Lucía Chico Sordo at IVI Foundation. Endometriosis is a painful condition affecting 1 in 10 women worldwide. This study will explore a promising relationship between endometriosis and specific miRNAs, with emphasis on the molecular pathways involved.

Grant 8! @PepinLab & Marie Meinsohn Even pre-birth women start losing their eggs. The AMH is the only known hormone to inhibit follicle activation. This team wants to develop drugs that mimic AMH by targeting its receptor (AMHR2) for clinical uses from contraception to aging!

Grant 6! @norahfogarty9 Healthy pregnancy relies on the functioning of the placenta. By generating patient-specific trophoblast stem cells, this research aims to develop better disease models for studying conditions such as preeclampsia which currently have no treatments.

We are excited to be part of the inaugural class of grants!
Until now, only a small portion of toxicants have been characterized due to limited biomonitoring methods. Excited to see this team change that and hopefully very soon inform policy for better health outcomes for us all!
