eBay should be protecting legitimate U.S. businesses here. VeRO complaints on accounts like this should lead to fast account-level bans and full listing removal, before these sellers have time to move hundreds of thousands of dollars in fake inventory, exactly like in this case.

Processed 1,490 listings: 1,135 Beckett and 355 Fanatics. That Fanatics number is not noise. It looks like industrial-scale abuse of old-format stickers, and Fanatics should be tracking compromised certs much more aggressively. #FakeAutographs #Fanatics

Processed this seller’s fake Beckett certs and the results are interesting. My data shows roughly 60–70% overlap with the certs from yesterday’s Chinese account. After comparing the listings more closely, this no longer looks like the exact same certs simply being reused.

Why does this work? @beckettcollect #Beckett certs lack photos in their database. You scan the code -> "Valid." Scammers print real numbers on fake labels. Beckett can't tell the difference. TPAs need to follow @autographcoa No photo = No security #ACOA #FraudAlert #Autographs

eBay only stores 90 days of history, so I could only scrape ~4,000 certs. But the math is clear: 10k sales at $50–$700 avg = $1,000,000+ floor. I've already found dozens of physical copies for a single cert number. Collectors are paying for "zombie" numbers. #BeckettFraud

Why? Because buyers who get scammed often don't realize it for weeks or ever. They assume the COA makes it real. The system is designed to benefit the scammer and fail the buyer.
