I had an idea in mind for a tattoo to symbolise our trio and our surrogacy teams. Alex found a design I loved and Rich at @VividInkSutton worked his magic. He incorporated a Robin and Bee for the two surro babies I carried and I just love it! 😍

Really excited to find out I’ve been accepted to start my NPQH with @TeacherDevTrust in the Autumn. I did my NPQSL with them and have also facilitated on the NPQLBC this year. Can’t wait to get started! 😀

Today we found out the LA have agreed to name Maple Hayes for our daughter and fund the costs. 🥳 I haven’t stopped shaking and crying. All that fighting, phone calls and paperwork was all worth it. This evening we are celebrating with our girl and her beautiful bright future. ❤️

I’m not in school at the moment as I’m still recovering. My amazing team supported students to make a delicious chicken pathia, yogurt flatbread and easy raita sauce. ☺️

Not the start of 2024 I wanted. Recovering from sepsis, acute renal failure and GI has been beyond terrifying. These last four weeks have been incredibly tough but have also made me open my eyes to what’s important. So grateful for family and friends. ❤️

Very saddened to hear of the passing of Benjamin Zephaniah- he was such an important figure in our @KEVIHandsworth community, an incredible advocate for social justice and equality and his contribution to the written and spoken word will not be forgotten. #BenjaminZephaniah

Our gorgeous girl turns 8 today. The girl who completed our family and who keeps us on our toes. She is so kind, funny and football mad. The best little sister in the world. We love you Iris. ❤️❤️❤️
