Freelancer mindset: "How many hours can I work?" . Agency mindset: "How can I multiply my impact?" . One scales your stress. The other scales your income.

They sound like they conflict each other. And I think it paralyses people. Spoke to Luke yesterday in our 1-1 and I’ve been thinking about it a lot. It’s seen as scarcity. as pressure to rush or quit, but instead it needs to be seen as continuous action, to stay consistent.

Just be the one who gets shit done. Most people will say it, few will do. Starts with getting up early, getting in a workout, planning the day, clear directions, no distractions.

The two voices:. ‘Progress takes time’.‘Time is limited’.

Me: I’m going to give upwork a real try. Them: It’s full of low paid jobs. Few years later, after having pulled $750k+ in new clients. turns out it was a good idea.

Traditional Education:.- Left me 100k in debt. Online courses and mentors:.- Made me that in a matter of months.

Once you’re consistently making $20k a month you hit that sweet spot. -You get to travel every month. -You don’t worry about money. -You could get that fancy watch. -You can take the Mrs out wherever. -You can buy that nice car if you want it. You can do it just from getting.

You’re not doing it wrong. You’re just going through the part that makes most people quit.

That’s been my biggest hurdle so far on this journey . I’d be without my laptop and panic, I couldn’t watch a film without checking emails, couldn’t be out with Beth without reply to clients. I was measuring my progress by individual efforts (time based) and not by building the.

The guilt of not working used to suffocate me. (explained below)

Hardly used my phone in the last 4 days. & now I understand how people invented all the cool shit in the world. So much thinking.

How do you see the world?
