This is incredibly sad and bad news for the US. In only 3 days, the 14-day average change in #COVID19 HOSPITALIZATIONS has skyrocketed from 7% to 15%! This means hospitalizations are not simply increasing but accelerating upwards at a fast pace. 1/

In the 1930s & 1940s differential analysers (complex mechanical computers) cost a lot. $125,000 for a General Electric model in 1947. So they started making them out of the construction toy Meccano! Here's a Meccano one in use at Cambridge University, circa 1937. Amazing!
