🎯. Gave up some good, raw talent. Also got someone who helps us now during a window we should be competing. Baz was a top 100 prospect himself for multiple seasons, and has upside beyond his baseball card stats from last year in a minor league park.

Shane Baz has better upside than a 4.87 ERA. Look beyond the surface. Gave up a lot, but got quality, young, controllable pitching in return. Isn't that what we've been clamoring for while (rightfully) calling Elias a "prospect hoarder?"

Not a barn burner, but love bringing back Big Al Suarez on a MLC. Guy has been a rock solid Oriole, and optimal in the "swingman" role. When they talk about pitching depth, these are moves you do need. That being said, O's still need arms at the top/middle.
