Like I'm sure anyone with enough fandom experiences know both sides have their good and bad. As to which is better, it depends on the community . I'd rather raise either son or daughter to contribute meaningfully to their communities, or just have no kids at all, like I said lol.

That tweet insisting the shipper daughter is inherently better than the powerscaler son by only stating the former's positives mustn't have seen FFVII fans get arrested last year, or MHA fans doxxing someone and threaten to off them, but it is what it is, i guess.

There are as many cons to shippers as there are pros, depending on which community you're a part of, let's not do this for the UMPTEENTH time 😭. Don't get it twisted either, because I despise many powerscalers too.

E.g. like, you can't look at the MHA fandom's history to the present day and tell me its reputation online, and genuine discussions about the narrative weren't mostly affected for YEARS by the shipping mindset and related discourses.

See, I for one, do not deny shippers and their dedication to a fandom. I appreciate it if anything, but let's not act like this debate would exist in the first place if the shipping communities in *some* fandoms weren't notorious for some of the negativity they bring.

I'd rather have no kids in this case, but
powerscaling son vs shipping daughter debate is so weird to me because like, shippers are the reason your franchise is still alive today in 90% of the cases. Powerscalers don't do nearly as much. Who is over there writing fanfics, making fan projects, etc. It's not the scalers.
