Martinelli’s former club invested all of the money they received from the striker’s sale on their training ground and facilities at the club. When Gabriel left, they were in the Brazilian 4th division. If they beat Vasco next week, they’re promoted to the Brazil’s first division

Arsenal players going to the World Cup.
so little is said about how bad Antony's been. Nicolas Pepe got 39 G/A in his first two seasons at Arsenal and won a major trophy (being a key player in the final) and he got cooked every week. The brazilian is probably the most one footed player in the league as well.
TITE: “We like Martinelli aggressiveness. He’s one of the top players at Arsenal, the first placed in the Premier League. He’s good on 1v1, very rapid in transitions, he’s been keeping a good level.”
@richardajkeys
A reminder that Richard Keys cheated on his cancer-stricken wife of 34 years with his daughter's best friend for 18 months. Who got control of you???
G.Jesus: After the WC I thought that I couldn't play as a

. I started playing much more on the wing at City and for Brazil. For a while I thought that. But I've changed my mentality, I believe much more in myself now. I'm smiling again playing football."
How good has Ben White been ALL season? Such a reliable performer. He makes 50m look a bargain the more and more he plays. We’re lucky to have him at the club.
Gabriel Jesus: “I respect (Tite’s decision to not call him up) I’m brazilian and I will always support Brazil. And I also respect the players that are there, they’re top players. I’ll keep trying my best to get chances again.”
Signed in the summer of 2019 from Ituano in Brazil’s fourth division, Gabriel Martinelli has been called up to the World Cup.
We’re witnessing all of this from the beginning. So happy for him
How good is this guy by the way? It’s getting repetitive to talk about him every week. He’s a £50million bargain if there’s one. Produces reliable performances week in week out. Up there with our player of the season so far and one of the various reasons we’re top of the league.
Richarlison: “I’d like to apologise to Martinelli, I told him he was diving a lot, so I didn’t shake his hand. Also with Magalhaes I told him they were stopping play all the time, I just said, “let’s play’”
January signings by the top 6...
Arsenal - £25m Trossard, £20m Kiwior
Chelsea - £90m Mudryk, £40m Badiashille, £30m Madueke, Felix
Liverpool - £40m Gakpo
Spurs - £35m Porro, Danjuma
United - Weghorst (Loan)
If MUFC get top 4 make no mistake Ten Hag has worked a miracle.
Arsenal played 10 London derbies in the Premier League this season
9 wins & 1 draw
No team in the history of the Premier League has ever achieved 9 wins in the London derbies in one season.
Martinelli: When Tite did call me up, I was so emotional. I owe so much to so many people, especially my parents. But I want to start by thanking my second family — Arsenal — because without you guys none of this would have been possible.
Douglas Luiz:
- PL experience
- Brazil international
- Can play

- Good set piece taker
- Still only 24
- Adds depth and technical quality
- worked with Arteta before
He ticks every box. I’m in!
Fábio Vieira: “I’m very happy to score my first goal for Arsenal, Martinelli has been helping me a lot with the language. I need to improve so much though. I’m overwhelmed by the (Vieira chant) it’s a good sign that the supporters like me and my football.”
Don’t need to be an Arsenal fan to know Bukayo Saka is better than every player in this list and had a better 21-22 than all of those as well. It’s just bizarre isn’t it. Gavi shouldn’t be top 5 too.
Gabriel Magalhaes was called up to the Olympics with Brazil and had to be ruled out due to an injury, and now, despite being called up several times in the last year, missed out the final squad to the World Cup. Feel for him. He’s better than Bremer and it’s underserved IMO.
Nicolas Jover’s job has been absolutely brilliant. We’re always a threat at set pieces. Has turned one of Arsenal's biggest weaknesses of the last years into one of their biggest strengths.
