I got #PostSsriSyndrome/#PSSD after taking Escitalopram, in Jan 2024 | BSc. Mechanical Electrical Engineering | Entrepreneur

I feel so fatigued... Simple tasks are sometimes too difficult because: 1. I can't imagine exactly what I need to do to accomplish it. The SSRI damaged my head, and ever since, I lost part of my ability to imagine. 2. My emotions are numb, so the "emotional drive" is less. 3.

Tomorrow I have appointment with a new neurologist. Hopefully it turns out okay. I'm going to ask the following: - Spinal column MRI. - Brain Pet scan - Suggestions on what to do. - Contacts who could help me - if he could put an adverse reaction report. What else should I

It's very hard for me now to do graphic design. I used to be able to imagine colors and the general design in my head, and it was a pleasurable activity. Now, I can't do it. I need to look up examples and kind of copy them. Thanks to SSRI's I lost significant part of my

I sometimes wonder... Is my behavior similar to what it was before Post SSRI Syndrome (just a bit different due to the numbing of my body) or am I acting very different?

So frequently, after sex, I get a pinching sensation in the penis, that goes intermittently for 1 hour approx. All this started happening after some few small doses of Escitalopram...

Drawing on the nation’s most comprehensive data, the @CDCgov is finally confronting the long-taboo question of whether SSRIs and other psychoactive drugs contribute to mass violence.

Is OCD real? I mean, should it be a mental disorder? Should it be treated with medication? I've been thinking I could had just avoided all this mess by ignoring intrusive thoughts and just continuing with life. And this is coming from someone that had severe OCD. Some

It's annoying having dysfunctional memory. I need to write down everything, I have a hard time recalling words, and remembering details of events. All of this after some few doses of Escitalopram. Bad memory affects my reliability, because people can't trust me (I can't even

I still can't get over the fact, I lost significant physical sensibility, got cognitive dysfunction, my emotions became numb, got Sexual Dysfunction, and Chronic fatigue, after some few doses of Escitalopram. It's been almost 2 years and have 0 improvement. Doctors are no help,

Why do most people don't respond to my audios? Am I too "numb" to understand? Could it be because I don't speak very fluently since getting harmed by an SSRI?

At the beach right now. Unfortunately, I don't feel much emotion after being harmed by an SSRI. I'm so numb, I don't feel much beauty about these places. How much longer do I have to wait?

It's very disappointing when explaining to most people what happened to me. Why? Because conversation goes as follows: Me: I took some small doses of an SSRI and it gave me a ton of symptoms which are still present, with no improvement, after 2 years. Them: Have you went to the

I asked the laboratory which manufactures the Escitalopram that gave me Post SSRI Syndrome (it's a major pharmaceutical company in Mexico which makes several SSRIs), how many reports of adverse effects similar to mine submitted to them have there been, and they told me I'm the

There should be a relation between anesthetics and Post SSRI Syndrome or PSSD. I have heard cases where local anesthesia improves the condition. Can researches look into this?

People don't have idea how is it to have Post SSRI Syndrome. Conscience gets numb. It's a hard state to explain. I feel like being drunk or high, but without feeling good. It's like when having local anesthesia, you don't feel that specific part, no matter how much you try to

Governments should always register if someone who committed suicide or a murder was taking or had taken SSRIs at any point in their life. They do change your behavior.
