Gerbers aren't open source. The sooner people and corporations can figure that out the better. Handing me gerbers instead of board and project files is like handing me an EXE instead of C code.

Recipe to dye the housing GameCube indigo: Pre soak housing in water until it sinks. Rit Dyemore: 42 teaspoons sapphire blue 6 teaspoons royal purple 4.5 teaspoons graphite Leave in dyebath at 120F for 40 minutes. Blot dry, wait 1 minute, rinse with cold water. Don't scrub.

I had to completely re order them cause UPS lost the first ones, but all the PCBs and the housing for the GameCube portable are finally here. It's gonna be a hell of a miracle if I can get it all together and working by the Nov 1st competition deadline, but I'm gonna try.

Their support is also useless. The live chat is a bot that tells you to call them. When you call you get an automated system that you have to argue with for 20 minutes to get a real human, who puts you on hold for 2 hours just to tell you they can't help you.

Unless the box miraculously turns up in the next couple days, I'm out of the running for the competition, which really really sucks, cause I spent 4 months straight designing the contents of this order that UPS can't even confirm will ever arrive.

Both UPS and DHL had a 2-4 day delivery time, I should've paid the $30 more to get DHL but I thought both would take the same amount of time, a mistake I won't make again.

I'm never ever making the mistake of using @UPS again. I'm building a portable GameCube for a competition with a deadline of November 1st, and they've held my PCB order 2hrs away for more than 2x the delivery estimate. If you need something fast, go DHL. UPS will screw you.

I could maybe try doing 60-80 minutes, but I suspect the dye color in general is just wrong. Could someone tell me if they think that I can get to the GameCube indigo with this dye mix? (All 4 test samples are the same dye mix, just changing other variables)

Disclaimer, this Cube has a yellowed faceplate, meaning the rest of it is probably yellowed too. Indigo GameCubes darken when they yellow, but I do not know to what extent this has happened. Every single sample is further away than I thought they would be. What do you think?
