Met an elderly Samoan man at the pool today. We spoke for 45 mins about life at his old age & I left that convo so happy and fulfilled after a long week.
That unspoken aura of knowing you’re talking to an elder, someone’s papa and a family patriarch, it’s so strong & beautiful.
