According to the article - it is a First Amendment lawsuit going to a jury on 9/4 and James McManis will be paid with taxpayer funds if a jury holds Jeff Rosen and @SCCgov government accountable. My money is on McManis not Rosen

Really good federal lawsuit #FAC filed re: @LAPDHQ harming journalists. However lots of focus on legacy reporters covering protests, not folks like @FilmThePoliceLA who has been covering the cops in LA for years!

I’ve been increasingly critical of Israel’s war strategy in Gaza, but given the IAEA report exposing Iran’s imminent nuclear threat, and the Iran regime’s stated intent to wipe out Israel + support for Hamas/Houti/Hezbollah terrorism, Israel’s preemptive strike seems justified.
