“Web3” is an entrenchment of the client-server model, locking users in to a centralized design while masquerading as decentralized system. We need a replacement for the World Wide Web (WWW), not a browser extension which deludes users into trusting a third party.
Give me your current best case for "Web 3" and how it is *structurally* different than Web 1 and Web 2. Thanks in advance. (I use and reference arguments in conferences and articles to millions of people if they are impressive.)

Very good thread for all serious IBC devs to read. Good question by @larry0x and great answers. TL;DR app callbacks are needed for much IBC functionality but are not present unless you use custom contracts and channels.
If my CW contract sends an ics-20 packet via the transfer channel (not the wasm contract-to-contract channel), is it possible for it to get a callback on packet ack or timeout? @simon_warta @0xekez

Thread on what we've been doing with our lives. Automation on blockchains is a major enhancement. You can write new kinds of dApps. You can eliminate tedious tasks almost entirely. I think of the CronCat smart contracts as resilient apparatus to be used by whomever wishes.

1/ I realized most new CosmWasm chains are using permssioned CosmWasm, which is great but hard for devs that don't know how to deploy. I'm gathering a list of places to deploy permissionlessly. Please add any chains I missed.
