another appeal would work. It looks like I have to give up on 7 1/2 years and thousands of hours of dedication because a mistake by YouTube that they have admitted was wrong 2 previous times. They won’t so much as give an example or have a real human speak to me like a human.

We covered those videos in the appeal and they clearly had no interest in looking at the channel. We still have not gotten a single video example of how we use reused content and now I can’t provide much for my family until at least mid October and that’s even if.

the appeal were not representative of my channel’s content as a whole which is a blatant lie. 99% of my videos made in the past 5 years follow the same format where we write a script, have someone voice over it and then give to an editor to gather footage.

I was able to get someone to say they would take a look but after 5 days of no response I followed up and gave me a cookie cutter answer. They clearly did not check and gave no reason to how I reused any content. I appealed YT’s decision but they said my videos in.

This time, the 3rd time this has happened, TeamYT has been nothing but robotic to the point where I legitimately think they have an AI handling everything. I keep telling them my situation and they keep recycling the same exact messages and links.

While it was frustrating, I was eventually able to speak to a human on Twitter and within 3 days, my monetization was back. All it took was someone to look at my channel and say “this is clearly not reused content by our definition and we made a mistake”.

I was demonetized on YouTube for the 3rd time in 4 years last week for “reused content” which by YT’s definition I objectively do not do (you can checkout my channel on my profile). They have admitted it as a mistake as recently as last year and let me back into the YPP.

If anyone can please retweet or quote tweet this to get a HUMAN at @TeamYouTube’s attention I would greatly appreciate it as I have a family to provide for and YouTube has taken away my ability to provide for my family. Please read this thread and help make it more visible.

there is a way to avoid this happening in the future because this is now the 3rd time in 5 years it has happened and each time it was reversed.

I don’t want to hear “go through the process of appealing” because not only can that take multiple weeks but it didn’t even work last time. I know for a fact you are able to take a look at this and reverse it in a few days since you did it last year. I’d also like to discuss if.

This is from last time and it was resolved in less than 3 days once an actual human saw it.

This is how I make my living and I don’t know if I can survive w/o a month without being able to earn and would like to get this resolved within a couple days. I am not asking for a boiler plate response where I am told to appeal, I really just want to speak in DMs with a human.
