A panel of "experience designers" as judges does the justice for me. They can easily see which design does better and why. Meanwhile, this is just an observation( my genuine opinion) and not a rant.

I'm not against anyone winning, but I feel that if it's worth being called a design challenge, then aesthetics and functionality should be key in deciding the winner. I've seen challenges where mid designers win because the have a great "fanbase".

When a design challenge becomes vote based, it gives room for a mid designer to win even if they break every possible design rule or worse still, use AI to generate their designs😂. So far their "loyal fans" can support them, it's a win for them.

I've always had issues with "vote-based" design competitions. Because at that point it's no more about functionality or design aesthetics. It now becomes about the person with a bigger account. Which just doesn't make sense. Let me explain.

Second tip: mirror your PC screen to your phone. This allows you view your work in real time from your phone as your work on your PC. There are free tools that helps you do that.

If you're using Photoshop, set your work screen to light grey instead of the usual black that's Photoshop default color. It helps with the contrast issue. And I've been using this since I found this tip. It's been really helpful.

It happens because of the difference in display between the phone and pc. That's why people prefer to design on Mac. As it's more "color correct or rich" than most windows based laptops or even monitors. But there's a tip for people that use normal PCs👇👇.
I made a design and it looks good on my PC but when I sent it to my phone, it was looking very dark. 🥲does anyone experience this too??.

DAOs manage about $50B but you need 6 apps to participate. Discord for chat. Snapshot/Realms for voting. Forums for discussions. Telegram for updates et al. This isn't how decentralized communities should work. 🧵1/3

Quick BTS. Main actions I used : .- Exposure and Hue Saturation. A good combination of just these two can be very powerful.
The challenge was to create something in 1hr30mins. It's not perfect, but it made me realize I need More speed. Lesson learnt👍
