At the Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal today, I learned about House Europe, an organization trying to prevent the demolition of historic building and encourage renovation instead. This aligns a lot with some of the themes I explore in my novel Once Removed.

This reel went viral on Facebook. I labeled it Mennonite because it’s funny, but what’s remarkable is how people are saying “that’s not a Mennonite church” on the basis of their attire or music. It actually looks a lot like Mennonite churches I know. We’re not all plain dress.
