do you know what's not rigged? the laws of physics. assuming no air resistance and a vertical displacement of zero, horizontal displacement equals initial projectile velocity squared times the sine of twice the launch angle divided by the acceleration due to gravity.

i think this is bc the first three villains motives were magic-related: sunset and the dazzlings wanted power while scitwi wanted to understand magic but all the others had basic human motives and ended up using the magic for dumb things that could be easily fixed normally or-
