USD 385 maintenance, grounds, and custodial staff members participated in Stop The Bleed training on Friday. Thanks to Ascension Via Christi for helping us keep our crews safe.

Touring the Smith Systems furniture factory in Texas today. It’s fun to see how everything is made and the attention to detail that goes into each step. Very impressive.

Our grounds crew has been busy this week at AMS replacing mulch with river rock and cleaning up the main entrance to the building.

Thanks to our wonderful transportation staff for allowing me to spend some time with them at a safety meeting today. Pupil transportation is a safety intense effort. Regular safety meetings help guide our efforts to make conscious safety decisions every second of every trip.

Prairie Creek’s gym floor is looking great! Nothing brightens up a gym like a fresh wood floor! Sound dampening panels for the gym walls are on order and once installed will complete the gym portion of the restoration.
