Mobile development tooling is a mess. Currently hacking through incomprehensible gradle errors with ChatGPT. No idea what I'm doing. It's a wonder anyone figures out how to ship an app to the app store. Respect if you have.

X is like a slot machine. Every now and then it pays out to keep you hooked.

Just spoke to a potential future user of the app I'm thinking of building. He was pumped about the idea. I could hardly get a word in edgeways. Led me to a different angle for the MVP that could give it some virality. Just one data point though. Need more.

Do so much work it would be unreasonable that you fail.

Which would offer more freedom: a $200K salary job or a $200K ARR business?.

Only 33 mins on X today 💪 Been much more productive and my head has been a lot clearer. Hopefully I can keep it up! 😅 If you get the balance right X is a really positive place to be, but if it takes over (and it easily does) it pulps your brain.

X can give you a lift in small doses. But being on here all day will hollow you out. Go build. You'll feel better. This will all still be here tomorrow. (note to self and anyone who needs to hear this!).

What startups do you know of that built in public and went on to hit $10K MRR?.

Wouldn't a drag and drop UI builder with pre-built, customisable layouts and component that outputs React + Tailwind/Shadcn be better than using AI to design badly with words?.

Most founder influencers who look like they built an audience first. Already had an audience from a product they built a few years before. Without any audience. Start building. Start small. Give a few people a reason to give a sh#t about you. More will follow.

Ah ha, here's the real pricing. Damn this is expensive. $75M ARR seems kinda meaningless as I bet their churn is terrible. What reason is there to stay once you've built your MVP?.
