The likely changes for second Test: Akashdeep Singh for Bumrah, Nitish Reddy for Bumrah, which means the third change (a second spinner) will come in for a batter. So India may have ask to ask Karun Nair to sit out. If a batter is sitting out, Sundar is the best bet to replace.
