The true test of any organizational paradigm or collective consensus building effort is this:. Does it make the whole more intelligent than the one, or less? . Do people get better when interacting with the system? Or worse?. It's really that simple, and that hard.

Intersting to watch BTC economic security if this continues. If miners need to 10x revenue on BTC to justify operations, things could get juicy. A 90% margin on mining means plenty of room for attack.
Apparently large swaths of Bitcoin miners are pivoting to AI infra now. How come no one else is talking about this?!

Four years in, still one of the most original thought pieces on governance. By @jayapapaya. The Disensus Protocol. Brekke argues for a "arena where differences can be confronted". Voting mechanisms and proposal lifecycles are one such arena in DAOs. Very little intentionality.

Where I think crypto will be in 2030:. Infra not degens - apart from hard core traders, no customer will interact with crypto directly. This is the fate of protocols. No one except hard core network devs interacts with the TCP stack. Crypto will become the rails for a new.
