Hard to make a case that this window has improved a squad that finished 14th. Average age is down I guess and if Potter gives Potts, Earthy and Marshall a chance that's a positive too, but time will tell

We always have reactionary managers rather than proactive ones. Even when we went 2-1 up was obvious Wolves had momentum. Shouldve made changes to push us up rather than keep retreating. Been slightly sympathetic towards Potter due to state of squad but this is on him

Look at the difference we go 2-1 up and sit back and try to see it out Wolves 3-2 up and going for another one We sit back when we lead the game and it always comes to bite us in the ass

Not retaining possession well enough. Paqueta and Fulkrug giving ball away far too much, so can't get any rhythm. Out of possession shape is solid, but with the ball been sloppy. Lille been sharp to press us to be fair

First 15 no where near it. Too easy to double up on wingbacks and no help from the wide CBs Then got a foothold, and controlled the game, Potts and Paqueta helping us keep possession and play forward and Fulkrug linking well. Then all Bournemouth for last 10 as we sat off

Anyone else think this is setting up for a Carlton Cole-esque "resigning" of Micky??

Graham Potter has told the West Ham board that he does not need a new striker this summer and will prioritise on other transfer positions instead. – C&H

I know level of opposition has to be taken into consideration but thought Scarles, Potts, Orford and Marshall all did exactly what you'd hope in their run outs. Played forward much more 2nd half with Potts and Orford in middle. Diouf looked very lively too.

Zero. Zero added time. Just let Inter get off the pitch and go home. Rate that from the ref

Personally thought 3-0 flattered CFC + that we were "unlucky" in the sense that when we nicked it via the press or had a shot blocked etc. it always ran to one of their players to break with us all so high up. But suppose u make ur own luck by anticipating better + being sharper

Today we looked like a team that is trying to be more possession based+trying to press higher up but that haven't quite worked out how to do that without leaving ourselves exposed if we miss place a pass or the press gets broken. Essentially we're currently crap in transition.

I know it's just a headline and not some theological piece buuuut surely a "miracle" and "divine intervention" are essentially the same thing

Really good episode, highlighting the tactical tweaks JL has made so far + (dare we say) reasons for optimism going forward as we continue to evolve Agree on point re: Areola's kicking - as I've said, I'd love us to go get Ramsdale, would be a game changer for our build up play

Latest pod on Max Kilman possibly being the greatest to ever do it out now. Talked through a system tailored to Souček's strengths being an excellent Plan B in development, general improvements in midfield, gamechangers from the bench and more... https://t.co/gfl1aYZjM8

One thing I thought watching West Ham today; I'd love us to sign Ramsdale. His passing and distribution would be a game changer for us under Jules.

Biggest issue at half time is midfield options as we try + build from the back. Guido being screened by Matea and everyone else to high up. When Paqueta comes deep he is taking too long on ball. Need Alvarez to join the pivot. Not helped by Areola's poor passing range imo #CPFCWHU
