Exactly this. It's an easy fix if mandated by the government. Make hybrid/remote mandatory.
Companies should allow WFH in cities like Bangalore and Mumbai. If physical presence isn’t needed, there’s no point wasting time, energy, and money battling traffic and poor infrastructure. Half your energy is wasted just reaching office.

Maybe the purists will disagree but Neovide feels like a good middle-ground for Neovim. Feels fast and snappy and probably a better way to get accustomed to the key-bindings and other nvim features.

The thing that I find very unique about AI vs other tech is that all of it is a giant experiment. None of your past experience really matters. The moment you think you have built some deeper, stable understanding of these systems, the whole premise is upended.

TIL that Delta lake has an option to use the inventory API for the vacuum command, to avoid listing all the files. That's brilliant. I remember suggesting that in an interview as a solution to faster file listing on the UI - slightly outdated but good enough for many usecases.
