I’m from conservative Christian circles in the UK, thankfully heard very little of this even from passionate complementarians.
We heard a lot more about the sacrifices of the suffragettes, and later our soldiers in World War II, to ensure we all had a right to vote.

Another reason why this so called Christian Nationalism movement is so potentially dangerous. If the Christian Nationalist win/rule, whose version of Christianity is going to rule? The one that would deny women the right to vote?;the one opposed to CRT in its totality? Which one?
@raeljames
I wonder if it's a numerically greater number than those who voted not to ban slavery as punishment for a crime in TN.
Like maybe it's just several thousand people but they're all on Twitter
@raeljames
I am sure that you didn't hear that ridiculous accusation from a real conservative Christian. The sounds like something made up by those who are critical of "conservative Christians."

@DaultRadio
I was raised that way. The idea was that women should never have been given the vote, but since they WERE, of course women were to vote as their husband, the head of the household, dictated on behalf of the family.
@raeljames
Yeah, apparently we're only meant to be pen1s receptacles and good for nothing else except to keep house for them. As if God's vision and purpose for women was so narrow.
@raeljames
Not just voting... the Bible verses they use to justify banning women preachers could also be used to justify banning women from every position of authority
@raeljames
It's hard to see what's right there—we've been trained by our environment not to see what we're seeing and not to hear what we're hearing.
It takes the work of God to unstop our eyes and ears *even though* these people have been shouting their ideas and plans for decades.
