Surprisingly not everything revives around React Native (maybe because I'm outside of Poland🇵🇱), but today I'm launching X-ray. I've been a big part of the team building AI pipelines which combine different data sources and makes it so easy for people to see what's going on.

Guillermo Rauch, CEO of Vercel, explained why modern apps don’t need you to reinvent backends, just build the frontend and plug into services. Full episode: https://t.co/3OdX7LGMxo

Anyone running React Native 0.78 and having Expo as a dependency? I would like to upgrade but running on Expo canary sounds too risky? 🫤

New year, new app, new architecture. 🎉 Kicked off 2025 by getting out a new fitness app, and it’s been a hit—10k+ users on day one! 🚀 Thanks to @reactnative's New Architecture and @RevenueCat, building, shipping, and monetizing apps has never been easier. 💪 Big shoutout to

Wow this is a major issue with New Arch - ANRs happening constantly with Reanimated and Keyboard controller. Probably would recommend to stay off New Arch until 0.77

Another pain point of New arch seems to be long build times. Android went from 25 mins to 45 mins (!). There's an official guide on how to improve that but it does not contain much about setting it on CI.

Second app running on New Architecture! Biggest pain point was actually migrating react-navigation + rn screens. But the whole ecosystem is in much better shape now that after 0.76 landed.

Despite up to 15 dependencies being marked as ‘Not supported,’ the interop layer seems to handle it well enough. You can check your dependencies with running: npx rn-chk-new-arch

I turned New Architecture in one of my apps on React Native 0.76 and had almost no issues. Didn't expect that to be the case, time to migrate all.

upgrading my app to react-native 0.76.x and random rectangles are appearing. Background colors are changed randomly, and random flashes 🫠 wish me luck wtf is this random giant white box, and below the black box?

Are there any fast solutions for markdown for React Native? Streaming text with and rendering it as a tree is expensive.

Are there any resources on migrating RN CLI to @expo? Especially apps that have changes in Xcode project etc.

React Native DevTools is one debugger for React Native, on by default. Re-engineered for correctness and reliability. A platform for future features.

I know expo is there and it's simple to upgrade, but when was last time that an upgrade was so simple as tins one for apps? Just a few lines changed. Kudos to everyone that made this happen! https://t.co/3PeTypXv32
