Apprentice jockey Leah Kilner update (3:30pm): Leah has been cleared of spinal injuries but has sustained fractured ribs and a fractured clavicle. She remains in an induced coma and will be monitored for her head injuries

Leah’s condition is improving in the High Dependency Ward. She was able to stand for the first time today and is also now able to drink on her own & continues to communicate with family

Apprentice jockey Leah Kilner update 9:45am: Leah remains in a stable condition in ICU at Princess Alexandra Hospital in Bris. She briefly came out of her coma overnight and squeezed her mother's hand. The hospital may bring her out of sedation gradually over the next 48hrs
Injured rider ELISSA MEREDITH update: Elissa has left John Hunter Hospital for the 1st time since her fall at Gunnedah. She was reunited with her dog Frankie and is now heading to Ryde Rehabilitation Centre in patient transport. Elissa continues to make positive progress each day
