I launched a new AI project about a month ago. 🚀 . It uses AI + images in a unique way, and this is the first real revenue coming in. Last 4 weeks: €2,678 in gross volume. But here’s the reality 👇. #BuildInPublic

Personally. It feels pretty "meh" to use. and really feels like OpenAI is struggling and kinda plateau-ing with its text models. GPT-5 was hyped for a long time before release so big expectations from everyone. I think some people benefit from it but 95% of people don't. .

Sometimes the universe sends you signs and you just gotta embrace it. I deactivated my Facebook Ads campaign cause I believe it’s currently low season for my product…. … And LITERALLY 20 minutes later, 2 purchases came it. Campaign is back on then 😂

Interesting stuff right there ! Keeping an eye on anything AI image editing related. 0.03$/image is getting into the range of what I'm looking for, for my projects. Let's keep putting pressure on @OpenAI's gpt-image-1 model 😏 they still have the best image to image model though.

I also believe the timing is perfect. Launching now gives me the chance to experiment, learn, and be READY when high season kicks in. That way, I can hit Q4 with momentum instead of just starting from scratch.

So for now: low profits, lots of learnings. But the gifting season is coming. 🎁 .And that’s where I believe this product can really shine. Excited to see how it plays out in Q4. 🙌.

On the cost side: .AI image generation isn’t cheap. I’m exploring ways to optimize this by hosting a custom model (Stable Diffusion + LoRA training). This could reduce costs a LOT.

Revenue ≠ Profit. Right now, the profit is still very low. Main reasons: .1. I haven’t cracked marketing yet .2. AI image generation is expensive.
