Don't pay much attention to the positions but I think we know 4 of the starters now, I'd guess the last spot is between Big Z and Ty. Get a backup guard and this is a top-10 team. Might be already. Kylan/Ty.Petrovic/guy/Lee.Stojakovic/Davis/Wagler.Z/Mirkovic.T/Humrichous/Jakstys.
Don't worry about the order of the guards here, we still need an impact wing and a backup guard but it's shaping up nicely. Even without adding anyone else this is a tournament team already imo. Kylan/guy.Petrovic/GUY/Lee.Ty/Davis/Wagler.Big Z/Mirkovic.Big T/Jakstys.

Jacas is the most obvious NFL athlete I can remember seeing at Illinois. There have been other great players but nobody who quite has the same "how does a guy that size move like that" quality. He's an alien.

Illinois football feeling very 9-3 to me this year. Legitimate playoff ceiling and the floor, the worst case scenario, is 6-6 and a bowl. It's so insane that it's not insane to say that.

I'm generally not a big fan of the "trade stuff for a guy just to pay him market value" deals but Parsons is so good the cap means you almost literally can't pay him enough. It's a great deal.
