Spotted this Downtown, Kingston 🇯🇲 on Wednesday (July 16, 2025) and I'm now learning that it was part of a protest against deep sea mining 🌊 #DefendTheDeep
While #ISA30 continues in Jamaica, a reminder of the powerful words of the @UN Secretary General @antonioguterres at #UNOC3: "The deep sea is not for sale and cannot become the wild west". World leaders are showing leadership for deep-sea protection.
