@quistar_ Creative gold takes time! Editing's like fashion-sometimes that extra moment makes a true showstopper. ✨

And this isn’t meant for people that just want a run of the mill portrait.
Unpopular opinion but photographers shouldn’t be given a timeline to release images during a collab. The point of a collab for a photographer is to grow. To do something different. For editing, that could take weeks, months. I shouldn’t release a project that can’t be

You lot are acting like I said all shoots should be delivered in 5 years. Lmao. Translation for people that might need help; if the inspiration comes and the shoot is ready the second day, perfect. If it needs to take longer, allow. How’s that hard to understand?

Consistency is the most difficult concept in this world. Takes a lot of sacrifice and patience

Who is your favourite Nigerian creative director based in Lagos? Someone that has experience creatively directing fashion brands (fashion collection etc), editorials and RTW.

@quistar_ Yes, you gave a fair point. Like what I commented I had to explain to calm everyone on the team, because low-key, I might have taken more time than expected all in the name of "my project and exploring new things". We should just be able to let every team member in on the plan.

One Collab took me weeks to retouch, I had to create and restart in the name of "it has to be different", which was🤭. Another took me less, bcos straight from shoot, I was ready for the world to see it🤭. It depends.

I understand you, but, a timeline is necessary, especially if you initiated the collaboration. But if you paid everyone involved and offered a release form, then you can take as long as you want. What we have is a bad habit, that we have to all collectively unlearn.
