A QPD promotions ceremony was held this week at Great Hall. Lt. William Ward was promoted to the rank of Captain. Sgt. Dwayne Goldman was promoted to Lt. Officer Tim Duggan was promoted to Sgt. Congratulations and well wishes with their new leadership roles!

Due to an uptick in coyote sightings around the City, the Quincy Police Department wants to remind citizens to be cautious and provide tips on how to deal with wild coyotes along with providing information on coyotes from the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries & Wildlife

Snug Harbor Elementary School PTO and the QPD will be hosting a free children’s Bike Rodeo Event on May 10th from 10am-1pm. The event will be held at the Snug Harbor Elementary School located at 333 Palmer St. in Quincy and will also include child car seat installments/checks.
