And that’s the end of that chapter. It’s hard to sum up all the 50 different feelings I have right now so I’ll just say thank you! For the very warm “au revoir” today and over the last weeks, and for the amazing unforgettable moments these last few years. You guys are the best ❤️

It’s been a rollercoaster, but there have been countless great comebacks and unforgettable moments. I would just like to say a huge “thank you" to everyone who made my 7 years as a full-time cyclist as fantastic as they have been. It means a huge amount to me See you on the road

I plan on completing my economics degree at University of Grenoble, and pushing on with my career outside of cycling. And of course I will be getting married to Louise in the autumn of 2024.  I’m so lucky to have had a career like this in cycling and to go out on my own terms.

tough demands inherent in professional racing take their toll. In the end, it was once again a serious trip to the hospital that made me put things into perspective. These are the "push factors”. However I've become increasingly excited about getting on with the “afterlife".

I’ve decided to retire from professional cycling and Coppa bernocchi, Tre Valli varesine, and Gran Piemonte will be my final 3 races. I’ve enjoyed 7 years as a professional cyclist, raced many big international races, competed with many of the top riders, and have loved the

Tour of Slovakia 🇸🇰 I started the week feeling ill but struggled through and finished things off feeling strong and having a nice long day in a 3-man breakaway, being last man standing and getting caught just before the final descent and flat run to the finish. That was fun

GP Fourmies tomorrow! Back feeling normal after ending Poitou Charentes with heat stroke. I’ve been working hard in training though so I’m hoping to get the end of season run of races off to a good start

I’m back! Tour Poitou Charentes starting tomorrow. First race back since June and it’s set to be pretty hot but this started going well in training a couple of weeks ago after the time off, so we’ll just have to see how things unfold. Can’t wait!

She said OUI! By my side for all the ups and downs and I wouldn’t ever want it any other way. I generally keep my private life private but she means so much to me and is often what keeps me going, I felt the need to let the world know. Needless to say I couldn’t be happier ❤️

I knew it’d either be really good legs or the opposite for the national tt champs yesterday and unfortunately it was the latter.. with the workload/fatigue of the last 2 months I could only go 90% power but it felt full gas. But that’s how it is. Now for some time off! 🍻

Happy to get to the end of the Belgium Tour. It was a bit tricky with the fatigue level and a very punchy, full-on race. Hopefully that woke the body up again for one last test before a bit of time off! National TT championships coming up on Wednesday! We’ll see what I have left

A puncture took me out of the front group just as it was splitting up today and I was only able to get back into the gruppetto 😬 anyway, some good stages coming up and the cobwebs have been firmly blown out after the bit of time off post giro

I’m back in business twitter folk! Signing on for the Belgium Tour tomorrow. It hasn’t been so simple since the end of the giro but in this last week things have come together nicely so I’m feeling good and ready to go! Let’s see if these magical “grand tour legs” actually exist

Nothing like a good macroeconomics exam and a head cold to bring me back down to earth. Strangely didn’t see any of those other giro chaps in the exam hall, not sure what happened
